What is the Sale Models section about?

A sales model is a general framework that defines a company’s approach to selling. Therefore, in the Sales Model section, users can build and customize their sales models as per their company needs.

Log in to the CRM instance and from the left side menu, scroll down and click Sales Models

Types of Sales Models

There are a few Sales Models that can be created according to the users' needs, for example:

How to create and set up a new Sale Models

  1. From the Sale Model page, click on the + Create new button

  2. The user is redirected to the Sales Models Settings page

  3. Create the sale model as per your company needs. For instance:
    - Straight Sale (Hard Sale)
    - Subscription (Continuity)
    - Pre-sale
    - Free Trial or Trial Period Extension
    - etc.

  4. Click on the Save button on the right side of the page, once done

How to Edit an existing Sale Model

In order to edit an existing sale model, please follow the below instructions.

  1. From the Sale Model page, click on the sale model name and be redirected to the sale model settings page (see below example)

  2. Make the changes accordingly

  3. Once done, click on the Save button, located on the right side of the page

What is on the Sale Model Settings page

The Sale Model settings page is subdivided into five different areas:

  1. General

  2. 60-day Stage

  3. Before Continuity

  4. Continuity Cycle

  5. Tax Percentage by Country / State

Please find attached below what is on each one of these five subsections.

General

Workflow Name field: add the name of your sale model

  • Description: add a description of your sale model

  • If the Sale Model is in use, switch to ON the toggle Is Active?

  • In the Select a Sales Model Type, users have two options:

  • Continuity Model: which should be selected to set up the subscription offer
  • Hard Sale Model: which should be selected to set up straight sale

By choosing one or the other, two more options for each can be included.

  • Continuity Model, the user has the possibility to also add:
  • the toggle Enable Pre-reoccuring Cycle?: when set to ON, this enables the pre-order type offer but with subscriptions

  • the toggle Is Shipment Delay?: when set to ON there is a delay of 30 days for the orders which are a subscription offer in order for the product to be sent after 30 days

  • Hard Sale Model, the user has these two possibilities to include:
  • the toggle Enable Pre Sale?: enable pre-order.

  • the toggle Is Trial Extend?: this is to flag the campaigns with this offer in order to follow the business rule 50% Business Rule

60-day Stage

Before Continuity

This section is enable ONLY if the user is currently setting up a subscription offer, and at the top of the page the toggle Enable Pre-reoccuring Cycle? has been switched to ON (see below example)

Continuity Cycle

Tax Percentage by Country / State

This section can be left blank, as taxes configuration are available inside the campaign settings page.
