What is the SKU Exceptions section for?

On the SKU Exceptions page, users can set products in the SKU Exceptions list.

Setting a product in the SKU Exceptions list means that the system will send the orders with this product even if, in the bundle, the other order is out of stock.

Where is the SKU Exceptions section located?

To find this section, follow the below steps.

  1. Log into CRM and go to the left-side menu

  2. Scroll down and click on the Warehouse Management

  3. Then click on SKU Exceptions.

What is on the SKU Exceptions page

On the SKU Exceptions page, there are:

  1. The feature to add a new SKU to the Exception List

  2. The list of all SKUs that are set as exceptions (see the below example):

Adding a new product to the SKU Exceptions page

  1. Click on the Add new Product SKU field

  2. Pick one of the SKU from the drop-down menu

  3. Click on the + Add button

How the products set up as SKU Exceptions work in the fulfilment chain

Normally, the system follows the 51% rule to ship a bundle of orders, which means that the 51% of the orders need to be in stock for the package to be shipped.

Otherwise, the system will set all orders of the bundle in Backorders, until the above rule is complied, or all products are in stock.

For SKUs that have been set as an exception the system ignores the above rule and sends the order even if, in the bundle, the other order is out of stock.

Please note that SKU can be set either on the SKU Exceptions OR in the SKU Black List. The same SKU cannot be included on the both features at the same time.
