Trendytech requirements

Stage One

CM: Tiffany

  • Objective: To rebrand FreeSeeMedia ecommerce site with new designs
    • Designs: Minami
    • Copy: Tiffany
    • CMS setup: Tiffany and Brazil Dev Team
  • Initial domain registration, site designs, and setup were done in this stage
  • First Aim: To continue to gain sales for products but simultaneously driving traffic away from main funnels and to gain brand recognition instead (as TrendyTech Media)
  • Secondary Aim: To complete development with full functionality of site so we could duplicate to additional cart pages as needed
  • EN was worked on, KR, and DE were next in queue consecutively
    • Translations had been requested
  • Page designs were designed and built:
    • References provided to designer
      • Formatting: LINK
      • Aim was to make responsive, informative and modern looking product pages, almost like a VSL page for each product
    • Page designs: LINK
      • Originally only built for EZStream Pad, Raptor VR, Raptor VR Controller, Amplifier, and then additionally MirrorCast Media
    • These pages were built out as templates so that we could go in and edit images, copy, and orders of the pages however we pleased easily
  • First version of site goes through QA with design, CM, and BR Dev
  • What should’ve happened: TrendyTech would’ve passed all QA and FreeSeeMedia would have fully migrated over to TrendyTech Media’s eComm site

Stage Two

CM: Leland and Tiffany

  • Objective: While TrendyTech was in final stages of QA and testing, site was to be cloned into 4 additional cart pages for different product verticals
  • Designs: Minami and Grainne
  • Copy: Gerna and Bryan
  • Sites and Verticals
    • TrendyTech: Electronics, Media, Tech
    • Lightning Gadget: Car, Mobile
    • Product Survival: Outdoor, tactical, survival gadgets
    • BeautyStat: Beauty, Fashion
    • BaeDaily: Home, Kitchen, Lifestyle
    • Original Product List curated for Alex’s review: LINK
  • Logo and page designs were being built, only Lightning Gadget and Product Survival got completed
  • Lightning Gadget development work continued, but outside of CM Team
  • Midway, CM responsibilities moved entirely to Leland, where it wrapped up with assets/copy for Lightning Gadget and scrapping Product Survival, BaeDaily (existing site), and BeautyStat (existing site)
  • What should’ve happened: After sites were duplicated, all 4 verticals should have launched and operated as separate ecomm sites.

Stage Three

CM: Julia

  • Objective: To get banking approval for all client offers and select inhouse offers through compliant cart sites
  • Product Page designs were simplified to a main photo, sometimes small gallery with angle and lifestyle shots, and one single description
    • All extra designs and feature containers from Stage One designs were removed
    • This made development of new product pages easy and quick
  • Functionality was put on the backburner in lieu of having what appeared to be complete and working cart pages so that clients could get banking approval for their actual sales funnels
