What is the Coupons section about?
In the Coupons section, users are able to create coupons that can be included in campaigns.
A coupon is a ticket or document that can be redeemed for a financial discount or rebate when purchasing a product. Customarily, coupons are issued by manufacturers of consumer packaged goods or by retailers, to be used in e-commerce stores as a part of sales promotions.
Where the Coupons section is located?
Log in to the CRM instance and from the left side menu, scroll down and click Coupons.
How to create and set up a new coupon
Click on the + Create new button
Fill in all the fields for each part of the page as explained in the next topics
Once all details have been included, click on the Create button
All Coupons, already created, will be listed on the Coupon main page as per the below example:
Coupon Profile
In this section, users should include:
The coupon name in the Profile Name field
The coupon description in the Description field
Switch to ON the toggle Is Active? so the coupon will be a feasible option in any campaign setting page
Discount Behaviour
In this section, users should configure the below options.
Discount Type, by picking one of the options in the drop-down menu
Discount Behaviour, by selecting one of the options in the drop-down menu
Discount Percentage field, in which users can add the amount of the discount in the percentage of the order
Minimum Dollar Amount of Purchase field, which can be set as the minimum amount of the order for the customer to be able to use the coupon
Expiration Date field, the coupon expiration date should be set up
Is Free Shipping? toggle should be turned ON if the coupon offers free shipping for the product
Coupon Codes
In this section, users should configure the below options:
The Maximum Usage field should contain the maximum usage of the coupon
The Usage per Customer field, the number of times|orders that the customer can use the coupon
The Coupon Code field, in which users can configure the code of the coupon
It’s important to highlight that if a value is either not specified or set to 0, for the Maximum Usage or Usage Per Customer fields, by default the limit is set to an unlimited usage.
How to edit an existing coupon
To edit an existing coupon, users can either:
Click on the Edit button
Or click on the coupon name
In both cases, they are redirected to the product page, where they can make the necessary update to it and then click on the Create button
How to copy an existing coupon
To copy an existing coupon, users need to:
Click on the Copy button and confirm the action
The user is redirected to the copied product to make any necessary changes
Once done, click on the Create button
How to delete an existing coupon
To delete an existing coupon, users need to click on the Delete button and confirm the action
