On this page, it will be explained the below topics:

DFO & Amazon partnerships

DFO is working with Amazon in two different ways:

  • The Amazon MCF Warehouse(s). MCF stands for Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment and is a fulfillment service that uses Amazon's warehouses to store products and have orders fulfilled for both Amazon's website and a brand's website.

  • The Amazon FBM refers to the Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN) and it’s Amazon's terminology for Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM). It refers to a method of selling where sellers list products in Amazon stores but manages all storage, shipping, and customer support independently.

Amazon MCF - Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment

The Amazon MCF* Warehouses are one of the warehouses used by DFO as one of its fulfillment centers.

Hence, orders are created throughout the CRM funnels and then fulfilled by one of the Amazon Warehouses.

The preeminent characteristic of these Warehouses is that they deliver just within the same country where the Warehouse is located. For example, the Warehouse is in the US, which implies that it will fulfill and ship orders that can be delivered just within the US.

Hence, while setting up the warehouse, there is no need to choose the countries where orders will be delivered as this is automatically defined by the Warehouse location itself.

Amazon FBM - Fulfilled by Merchant

In this case:

  • DFO sells its products on the Amazon Marketplace

  • Then imported the orders via eOne from Amazon to CRM

  • These orders are then fulfilled by the eManage CRM warehouse according to what fulfillment centers have been set up in the Marketplace Management>Marketplace Map (see the below example)
