GA Report Guidelines

GA Report Guidelines

When receiving requests for a GA Report, check if the request is for an Affiliate/Affiliate Manager or for the Internal Media Buying Team (Special Tactics, AU, etc.).

If the report is for an Affiliate (Public), filter out Special tactics and only include sessions and conversion rate.

If the report is for the Internal Media Buying Team (Private), select all user segment and include sessions, conversion rate and conversions.

NOTE: This only applies when we have GA access. If GA access isn't available, report is needed from advertiser.


Below are GA Instructions for both type of requests:

Affiliates - Public

  1. Go to Report (ex. Custom, Age, Gender).
  2. Select/Create a Segment To Filter Out Special Tactics
    1. Click on Active Segment (All Users) > Select Conditions
    2. Filter by Source to Exclude Special Tactics Domains and Save Segment (ex. Superboost)
  3. Export Data via Screenshot/PDF/Sheet - ***Only Include Sessions and Conversion Rate

Internal Media Buyers - Private

  1. Go to Report (ex. Custom, Age, Gender).
  2. Select All Users Segment
  3. Export Data via Screenshot/PDF/Sheet - ***Include Sessions, Conversion Rate and Conversions
