Subject Line Research

  • Step 1 - Search up a competitor brand or a product within the same category as the product campaign you are testing for

  • Step 2 - On the left hand side navigation, select “Subject Line“ and then select a relative time period (time period is useful for holiday season to search up related SLs)

  • Step 3 - Towards the bottom of the page, there will be a summary of their top subject lines as reference. The email assets corresponding to the subject lines will also show up

Tip - Mailchart lets you download all email assets in HTML or CSV formats. CSV format extracts a report of all subject lines and preheaders to make it easier for viewing/copying.

Certain email assets also has certain popular send times that we could learn from.
