5 Ways we should use Smart Buttons
1) Set up local funding sources: iDeal, Bancontact, MyBank, Giropay, EPS
This will allow us to quickly access relevant local payment methods preferred by customers.
Also by leaving off non-essential payment options, we will be left with a cleaner order page
that is easier to navigate.
iDeal for customers in the Netherlands
Bancontact for customers in Belgium
MyBank for customers in Italy
Giropay for customers in Germany
EPS for customers in Austria
SEPA Direct Debit is also available for customers in Germany.

3) (TEST) Using Venmo Payment Methods
This new payment app is being used by millennials to purchase and split the cost of
items with their friends (Venmo is best described as a social payment app).

4) Use the PayPal Smart Button vertical layout
The Smart Button vertical layout will allow us to keep our current order page structure and
reduce the need for the PayPal radio button selection. All local payment options will show
up listed underneath the PayPal button.

5) Use the rectangular version of PayPal Smart Buttons
PayPal smart buttons have two options for button shapes: rectangle and pill.
To stay consistent with our current button styles, we should stick with the rectangle.
