Split Testing Requirements for New Framework(s)
Hi Guys,
I want to explain a big requirement for split testing.
In "Old Framework" - the parent campaign WID didn't matter very much; that means even if an upsell in the Parent Campaign's CRM settings wasn't added under the Upsell section, I could still add it to the split test. So pricing would populate, etc.
In "New Framework" - the above doesn't work. To test it, I need to add the upsell to the campaign settings of the main campaign.
Now, why is this bad?
- It means, even if an upsell is in "test" environment, we need to add it to the live campaign. Otherwise, we need to create a new main campaign, even when nothing inside of it should change.
- Without the above, I can't test brand new upsells easily head to head. It also creates issues with upsell order
Let me know if this makes sense, and any challenges.
