Related SKUs


What is the Related SKUs section for?

On the Related SKUs page, users can set up an alternative SKU that the system will choose in case the initial SKU is out of stock

Where is the Related SKUs section located?

To find this section, follow the below steps.

  1. Log into CRM and go to the left-side menu

  2. Scroll down and click on the Warehouse Management

  3. Then click on Related SKUs.

Adding a new product to the Related SKUs

  1. Click on the + Add New Group

  2. The New Related SKU tab will pop up

  3. In the Main SKUs field, the user can select the SKU(s) that will be swapped with the related one, by picking the product from the drop-down menu and then click on the + Add New Main button

  4. In the Related SKUs field, the user can select the SKU(s) that will replace the Main SKUs, by picking the product from the drop-down menu and then clicking on the + Add New Related button

  5. Then click on the + Add To Group button

    In case more than a SKU needs to be added, just repeat from point 4 and forward.

  6. Ultimately, once the SKUs have been added, just click on the Save button



    and the items will be included in the Related SKUs page list

  7. Click on the toggle Is Active, to trigger this new rule.

  • Please note that a N SKU can be swapped ONLY for another N SKU.

  • In other words, a SKU cannot be replaced to 2 or more SKUs.

Example of Related SKUs

In this example, the user will set up as:

  • Main SKU, the Antique Drawers

  • Related SKU(s), the Bedside Table, and the Biodegradable cardboard pots

If the Antique Drawers product is out of stock, the system will check if the Bedside Table has inventory, that’s why this has Priority #1.
In case also the Bedside Table is out of stock, the system will go for the Biodegradable cardboard pots that has Priority #2. In the event the second SKU is out of stock, the system will go back to the original SKU

How to Delete a Related SKU

In order to delete a related SKU rule, previously implemented, please click on the Delete button on the right side of the page
